How can there be an automatic or easy process to claim ownership of the proposals from Ideascale so proposers can then manage that project in a separate community site?

• Member API - Settings ⇒ Community ⇒ API Tokens - Nothing available on the Ideascale site for usage for members
• IOG API access - Need permission from IOG once they have API access that could be used by community tooling.

Manual connection

• Message Ideascale account - Create an Ideascale account where the proposer owners message the account with the email address that they want to confirm as the owner of the Ideascale account. That user can then be applied to any of the proposals contributed in their Ideascale account
• Ideascale comments - Owners of a proposal could leave a comment on a historic or current proposal staying the email address or a specific unique code. This isn't ideal as it publicly shows the information and also cannot guarantee you can comment on proposals in the future.

Asking proposers to message an Ideascale account their email address will be the easiest way to verify they are the owner of the proposals of their account whilst there is no easy access for the API.
